Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Do you free measure and quote? – Yes, all quotes are done free of charge and you are under no obligation to utilise our services.  Due to price increases across the board happening more often, our quotes are valid for 30 days only. It is best then to get an up-to-date quote before go ahead.
   
2. Do you measure after hours? – Yes. A lot of customers have rental properties or work fulltime.  For this purpose we are availalbe to quote after hours.
   
3. Do you quote on weekends? – Yes, we pride ourselves on being available to customers after hours and on weekends/Public Holidays.
   
4. Do you run Customer Accounts? – No. We are a small business and have suppliers to pay, therefore we ask that payment be made on the day of completion unless otherwise arranged.
   
5. Can I pay by Credit Card? – No, this facility is quite expensive to run and maintain. To keep costs down we accept; cash, cheques or direct transfer to our bank account.
   
6. Can you install Colorbond fencing? – Yes. We do erect post and rail fences as well as Good Neighbour fencing (no visible posts & rails). There is a great range of colours to choose from.  Zincalume (silver) also available.  The old 'Galvanised iron' or 'Galv' can be obtained for heritage properties, although a little dearer - ask for it by name. 
   
7. Do you install Rural/Sheep Fencing? – Yes. We have over 17 years experience in rural/sheep fencing. This can also include: electric fencing, swinging gates & making stock yards and animal runs/pens.
8. Do you install glass panel fencing? - Yes we are able to customer make glass panel fencing to your requirements.
   
9. Can you remove an old asbestos fence/shed? – No. Asbestos needs to be removed by an appropriately certified business.  Once the old fence/shed has been fully removed, we can then come in and install your new fence or erect your shed on the same site.
   
10. Can you build horse fencing? – Yes.  Electric fencing is available for horses. Horse Sighta wire can be added and for a small extra charge a white cap can be put on the metal droppers for injury conscious horse owners.
    
11. Do you build brush or brick fencing? – No. We do not install either.  We do not install the brick pillars for the tubular fence panels.
    
12. Do you charge for travel? – No we do not charge any extra for travel. However if you are just after an information service with no work to be done, there may be a charge for this service at an hourly rate.
    
13. What does ‘Maintenance’ involve? – ‘Maintenance’ covers the main aspects of up-keep to a property. This could be stormwater; rubbish removal; repair or replacing gutters; roof repairs; painting; shed/pergola erection.
    
14. Can you build an extension to my house? – No. We can do fit-outs (framework and internal walls) of houses, sheds etc. As long as the external structure is already in place.
